(HYDRO-) METALLURGIST / CHEMICAL PROCESS ENGINEER f/m
Umwelt- und Ingenieurtechnik GmbH Dresden (UIT) is an innovative engineering company engaged in mining and environmental projects worldwide and considered as the competence centre for mining and exploration technologies within the General Atomics group. To support the operation of the in-situ recovery (ISR) uranium mines in South Australia, we advertise for an (Hydro-) Metallurgist / Chemical Processing Engineer.
Yours tasks:
-
Engineering of plant operation, in particular optimization of both ISR wellfield performance and hydrometallurgical processing (ion exchange, down-stream processing)
- Technical support to operational groups including maintenance
- (Geo-)chemical process simulation and material balance
- Applicable place of work: South Australia
Your profile:
- Graduate degree in chemical engineering/process engineering or comparable
- Specific knowledge / experience in hydrometallurgy and / or relevant chemical processing welcome
- Good command in English (fluent in spoken and written)
