GBM Gleisbaumechanik Sets Milestone: New Revision Center Opens in Kirchmöser on Tag der Schiene (National Rail Day)

GBM Gleisbaumechanik Brandenburg/H. GmbH has opened an innovative Revision Center in Kirchmöser, a district of the city of Brandenburg an der Havel on the nationwide “Tag der Schiene” (National Rail Day). In addition to significantly reducing maintenance times for rail vehicles, Brandenburg’s Transport Minister Guido Beermann highlighted the importance of the new center for the transition to sustainable mobility in Brandenburg.

Debut on Tag der Schiene (National Rail Day) 
As a comprehensive service provider in the fields of vehicle construction, maintenance, and modernization of rail vehicles, GBM Gleisbaumechanik participated in this year’s Tag der Schiene for the first time. With nearly 300 events nationwide, the event highlights the versatility and relevance of rail transport throughout Germany.

Honored Guests Emphasize Importance 
The opening of the Revision Center took place in the presence of Brandenburg’s Transport Minister Guido Beermann and Member of the German Bundestag Sonja Eichwede. Eichwede emphasized the importance of  initiatives like the one taken by GBM Gleisbaumechanik "Projects like this are essential for Germany's sustainable mobility strategy and deserve our full support."

Minister Affirms State Goals 
Minister Beermann emphasized the strategic importance of the new center: "The state of Brandenburg plans to increase the share of environmental friendly mobility to 60% by 2030. The new Revision Center contributes to this goal and makes an important contribution to reducing downtime for vehicles in need of revision through innovative processes."

Management Underlines Corporate Responsibility 
Dr. Volker Keller, Managing Director of GBM Gleisbaumechanik Brandenburg/H. GmbH, commented on the opening of the Revision Center: "For our company, the opening of this center is a carefully planned step.
