BFL as participant and exhibitor at the workshop BAU-PROTECT
The BAU-PROTECT workshop took place on November 13 and 14, 2018 for the eighth time at the University of the Federal Armed Forces Munich, Institute of Mechanics and Statics, Research Center RISK.
The workshop dealt with the protection of structural infrastructures against extraordinary impacts such as terrorism, accidents, disasters and natural hazards. Ensuring the security and resilience of buildings and structural infrastructures in such extreme situations has become increasingly important.
Persistent transnational terrorism, hybrid threats, accidents and natural disasters are a constant driver for the scientific consideration of possible measures to increase security and protection. The urban space, especially critical infrastructures, can be designed as a living space of a liberal society through innovative protection solutions and intelligent security concepts.
Herman Stenzhorn, Managing Director of B+F Beton- und Fertigteilgesellschaft mbH Lauchhammer and Gottfried Herrmann, Sales, presented at the workshop BFL-ELEMENTE SYSTEM-JURASCHEK.
The Bau-Protect workshop is a suitable platform for planners of buildings, engineers, architects, representatives of authorities and decision-makers in companies who are concerned with the assessment of risks, the evaluation of hazards and the implementation of protective measures for buildings.
